Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional directly serves our clientele, providing care, support and skills-training to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges. Basic job duties may include: food preparation, house cleaning, skills-training at home and/or in the community, basic hygiene care, medication administration, if needed, assisting with activities of daily living, following a support plan, transportation of clients (approved drivers only), social skill training, and integration into the community.

Available shifts will vary depending upon work locations and the needs of our clients: Full time (30+ hours) and part time; day, swing, night and companion.

Lead Direct Support Professional (Lead DSP)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting the Program Administrator/Manager with hiring, training, supervision and scheduling of Direct Support Professionals (DSP's), ensuring adherence to Oregon Administrative Rules and OSHA guidelines, coordination of client services, maintaining client records and quality assurance supervision, while also directly providing care and skills training to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges.

This is a full time position. Shifts may vary, shift coverage and filling in for open shifts as necessary including working overtime. Schedule dependent upon needs of the program.

Program Manager / Program Administrator

Manager: Responsible for 1 program.
Administrator:
Responsible for 2 programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Management of group home training, supervision and scheduling of Certified Support Professionals (CSP's). Ensuring adherence to Oregon Administrative Rules and OSHA guidelines, coordination of client services, maintaining client records and quality assurance supervision. Regularly meeting/mentoring of Certified Support Professionals as needed, staff placement, clerical, communication, organization assistance, new-hire documentation, orientation, scheduling staff for on-going training by maintaining certification on Therap and training rosters; overseeing client financials and core comps. Ensuring timely/organized development of future programs.

This is a full time Exempt position. Shifts/hours may vary, minimum scheduled hours/days are Mondays-Fridays 8:30a-5p. On call duties for assigned programs.

Residential Administrator
This position reports to the Residential Director and the Executive Team to ensure the proper planning, management, and evaluation of all services offered within the region. The Residential Administrator provides supervision and oversight to all programs, is responsible for licensing, oversees coordination of services, coordinating directly with state and county personnel, and ensures quality of care. The Residential Administrator directly supervises Program Administrators/Managers and assists them with the supervision of Certified Support Professionals. The Residential Administrator oversees the development of individuals’ plans and support documents, coordination of services, monitors progress, and assists with maintaining client records. This is a full time Exempt position. Shifts/hours may vary, minimum scheduled hours/days are Mondays-Fridays 8:30a-5p. On call duties for assigned programs.
Certified Nurse Assistant II / Direct Support Professional

The Certified Nursing Assistant II / Direct Support Professional is part of the health care team that provides direct or general nursing care to clients under the direction of a licensed nurse and within the parameters of the state licensing board. The C.N.A.2 / DSP assists the clients family and other support staff to assure the delivery of quality care in a safe and comfortable environment. This position requires regularly scheduled direct care shifts.

Behavior Specialist 1

The Behavior Specialist 1 position reports to the Behavior Team Supervisor / Program Support Director to ensure proper planning, management and evaluation of behavior support services and activities for their assigned caseload. The position involves working with individuals who are diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health illness, traumatic brain injury, and/or challenging medical conditions and who will potentially exhibit behaviors of concern. The Behavior Specialist 1 is responsible for many of Renew Consulting, Inc.’s behavior support services including the creation of Functional Behavior Assessments, Temporary Emergency Safety Plans, Interaction Guidelines, and Positive Behavior Support Plans as well as data tracking and staff training on behalf of Renew Consulting, Inc. clients. They may also collaborate with other administrators to develop Residential Service Plans. The Behavior Specialist 1 trains staff on positive behavior supports and Oregon Intervention System (OIS) philosophy and practices. The Behavior Specialist 1 is responsible for ensuring quality of services and contract fulfillment of consulting services for Renew Consulting, Inc. clients under the oversight of a Behavior Specialist 2 or the Behavior Team Supervisor.

This is a full-time position. Shifts may vary, but will most often be daytime, Monday through Friday, may need to answer protocol/restraint notification program calls after hours.

The Behavior Specialist 2 position reports to the Behavior Team Supervisor/ Program Support Director to ensure proper planning, management and evaluation of behavior support services and activities for their assigned caseload. The position involves working with individuals who are diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health illness, traumatic brain injury, and/or challenging medical conditions and who will potentially exhibit behaviors of concern. The Behavior Specialist 2 is responsible for many of Renew Consulting, Inc.’s behavior support services including the writing of Functional Behavior Assessments, Temporary Emergency Safety Plans, Interaction Guidelines, and Positive Behavior Support Plans, as well as data tracking and staff training on behalf of Renew Consulting, Inc. clients. The Behavior Specialist 2 is responsible for ensuring quality of services and contract fulfillment of consulting services for Renew Consulting, Inc. clients. As part of the position, the Behavior Specialist 2 may also assist with consulting on cases that are not directly assigned to this position.
