THE APPLICATION PROCESS
After reading this page, complete an online application by clicking on the icon above. Take your time and follow the instructions. Be thorough; for example, we can’t check your references without phone numbers. Spelling, punctuation, and grammar count. Also, please use the correct date format MM/DD/YYYY, which means two digits for the month, two digits for the day, and four digits for the year. 03/07/1972, not 3/7/72. Since a driver’s license is a mandatory requirement, any application that does not have this information included will be closed immediately so please don’t forget to include it.
When entering your information within the availability section, it is extremely important that you make yourself as available as possible. If applying for a direct care staff position, it will be more than likely you will not receive a phone call if you are only available for day shift and no weekends. Please, on your days of preference only leave out the times you are 100% unable to work. If you are unwilling to work a shift other than a day shift and with no weekends, this might not be the field of work for you.
THE TRAINING AND PLACEMENT PROCESS
The training and placement program is primarily geared towards the direct support provider position that we, and other companies hire for. A direct support provider is someone who works directly with our clientele helping them to accomplish their daily living goals. This can include cooking, cleaning, bathing, paperwork, administering medication and/or anything else that is required for safety and well being of our clients. For those individuals going through our training and placement program seeking employment, training is free.
The training takes four full days (click the links below for full schedules) and includes lots of useful certifications that can be used anywhere, like First Aid and CPR. If necessary, you can split the training between two different weeks to work around your schedule. Training is completely free and you will receive all of your certifications upon completion of each section covered in class. Upon completion of the training program, your application will be put into a pool of people that both Renew Consulting and our contracting employers pull from to offer permanent positions.
