Proctor Care

Proctor Care serves children with Developmental Disabilities that require high, intense support needs. Examples of these needs can include challenging behaviors, mental health conditions, or significant medical treatments. It is a priority of Renew Consulting Inc. to select the strongest match between the child and the proctor family. These children are in need of a stable, secure home environment where they can flourish, which is why we seek long term placement. Compensation and living expenses are provided by the State of Oregon.

Renew Consulting works directly with each Proctor family, biological family (if applicable), school representatives, and various team members to support the family and child to ensure a successful placement. Therefore, we provide continuous support, guidance, skills training, respite care, case planning and behavior support at no cost to the Proctor Parents. Proctor services can be simple or complex depending on the child and their individual needs. A Skills Trainer is often provided to work with the child in the home and in the community.

SKILLS TRAINERS
Skills Trainers work directly with proctor children to help assist in the development of their daily routines, social interactions and curriculum activities (training is based on the specific needs of the child).
